How to get to us
The Liberte boat hotel is docked at the Oosterdok right in Amsterdam City Center for those days that we do not sail. Oosterdok is right next to the NEMO Science Museum and very closed to “Het Scheepsvaarmuseum” – the Nautical Museum which has been restored a few years ago. Both NEMO and the Nautical Museum are truly stunning and highly recommendable. NEMO offers an exceptional (FREE!) roof terrace overlooking the city.
Directions are as follows; when coming from the Aiport take the train, approx. 5 Euro single trip every 15 minutes for a ride of 15 minutes to Central Station. Exit Central Station at the City side. Once outside instantly go left, towards the Chinese floating restaurant – which can be missed. The walk to the Liberte Boat hostel is max 7 min. You must cross a bridge to NEMO keeping the OBA (public library, being a modern big building) on your left and walk towards NEMO. The Liberte is on the 2nd dock just beside another big boat called the Vita Nova.
One cannot miss it and the entire road is well paved and a convenient walk. By cab it costs you max 10 euro. Taxis can be taken directly in front of the Central Station as well.
